Vargas
presents ...
Roxana Vargas, President
Roxana Vargas is the glue that holds La
Internacional Sonora Show together. Her music
business experience has often been tested by
managing a wide range of music artist
personalities. With a music as passionate as
cumbia, the artist roster for La Internacional
Sonora Show has had work together to maintain and
improve on a music vision while being the best at
their professions. It has taken Roxana a
considerable amount of energy, effort, expertise
and experience to keep La Internacional Sonora
Show alive, and exciting. |
Kiko Vargas Jr.,
Director
In modern music, the bandleader has often taken a
back seat to the demands of soloists, always at
the expense of the music. The reason La
Internacional Sonora Show is respected is only
because of the music, and both the consistency
evolution of the music has been the
responsibility of the oldest son of legendary
bandleader Kiko Vargas, Sr. Mr. Vargas Jr. is
responsible for the sudden re-emergence of what
is considered to be one of, if not the most
exciting show band on the west coast. His
dedication to the legacy of his father has given
fans of cumbia the hope of ongoing, and
long-lasting enjoyment. |
Evelyn Miranda, Office Manager
Throw a bunch of letters and forms at Evelyn
Miranda and they always come back to you sorted,
organized and filed. The operations of a
successful show band depend heavily on paperwork,
and La Internacional Sonora Show's advantage over
our competitors is because of Ms. Miranda's
excellent organizational skills. Show dates are
met, bills are paid early or on time, and La
Internacional Sonora Show remains the band of
choice for corporate America, because we all
exceed their requirements. |
Martha Rodriguez, Secretary
Marta Rodriguez is very, very smart. Sometimes
the problems a major international show band
faces require the talents and abilities of
exceptional people such as Marta. Conflicting
requirements, missing-in-action superstars, and
failing equipment, all of these problems are
always resolved, often before they are noticed by
others. It's another one of the advantages we
have that make us such a well-run orchestra. |
Jesse Cochran, Sound Engineer
For fifty years, there has been nothing in this
world that was ever more important than the sound
of La Internacional Sonora Show. With a large
roster of musicians, a breathtaking variety of
venues and sound systems that remain unknown to
everyone else in the world, Jesse has managed to
the band something that is a rarity in the world
of Latin music: a consistent, clear, contemporary
sound that makes us the envy of all other bands. |
Carlos
Duran, Web Developer
Building a MySpace page is what passes for a
website for most Latin music bands today. Many
tend to view the expense of providing a
professional, attractive experience for both
their fans and their corporate patrons to be too
high, and leave them often uninformed and lost.
Carlos believes that simplicity is the key to
success on the internet. He builds websites such
as ours should allow fans to find music, news,
and events quickly. If you have any questions
about our website, Carlos is always ready to
help. |
